Kennedy is back up to her birth weight today! She's such a growing little princess! Gets bigger and bigger each day! Aidan is VERY anxious to meet his little sister. Hopefully he won't be poking her eyes out by the time she gets to come home cause he's so confused why mom and dad are always gone and he has a babysitter. But he still loves us! Aidan and Daddy went out to go sledding one day while Mommy was SLEEPING and resting. Mom felt a little left out but she needs to heal! Its been great having daddy home at this time and its going to get even better when we go pick up NANA tonight! Anyway Ben was having fun with Aidan and the last time down the hill Aidan started to cry. But Aidan's been talking about it since! He calls it a SLEIGH! Talks about it NON STOP! Anyway I promised Aidan we were going to have a post just for him and look at this he gets it!!!!

Aidan hopefully will be doing a little better once he gets to meet Kennedy and all but we'll see. We might have a cute little monster on our hands! But we'll love him anyway!

Daddys are the best and we are VERY greatful for ours! He's done a lot for our family at this hectic time. I love you Ben and Aidan. Thanks for always helping Mommy out!

My sister needs a welcome to the internet world cause I MISS HER!

My cutest sister in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD just got email and internet! OH MY GOSH MANDY JO I LOVE YOU! Miss you and can't wait to chat away with you! I bet you love living in your new state and town! I'll have to save my pennies or cross my fingers that Ben gets excepted into school cause I"M COMING TO STAY! Kennedy needs to meet you! Give the kiddos hugs for me! Love you guys!

Day 8!

Ok so I can't be on the computer much but wanted to post this ADORABLE picture of my baby girl! She's our LITTLE PRINCESS!

7 days and STILL growing!

Kennedy is SO much fun! Today when we went to the dr she was being fed and they took the bottle out of her mouth cause she was drinking TOO fast and she wanted more so she just stared right at the nurse and SUCKED THE AIR cause she wanted more! I can't wait to teach her sign language! Oh I love her so much!

Here are some more pictures of Kennedy! She's doing so much better! Within the next couple of days she's going to be moved into a regular bed and be in NICU for a couple days like that. Then they will move her to a regular room and Ben and I will stay with her all day everyday! I'm hoping Aidan gets to meet her then. The Germans have a weird way of thinking but I won't go into too much detail or this blog could be the longest one yet!!!! Lets just say they don't think a baby should be held too much cause its not good for their health. So Ben and I are only allowed to hold her once a day! INSANE! Makes me wanna punch them! Then another thing is they think we are awkward for visiting her too much. I will be at the hospital every chance I get to be there for my baby girl! She's eating lots now and out of a bottle. Ben said she's goign to be a chunk cause she's on breast milk guess we'll see. Anyway I will try to update you all as the week goes but I am rarely home and it kills me to sit at the computer so I'll do my best!

Born on her Uncle Rue's Birthday!!!!!

Okay folks so here's the story. I had an appt the morning of the 29th to have Kennedy Jo turned. When I went in they started me on monitors and Kennedy was kicking away. She did not want them on her! It was silly. Then the dr came in and I was having some contractions but I couldn't feel them. Then he did an ultra sound and was thinking of how she could be turned then he checked the amniotic fluid and I had less then half the amount I should have. So they did they test to see if I was leaking and it came back negative. So then (I know this is a LONG story but I can't miss the details.) He went to fill inside me and couldn't find the membranes so he said we are taking this baby csection today. So Ben got his work called and told them I was going in for an emergency Csection. Anyway they took me back and tired to give me the spinal anistetic but my left side jerked when they were giving it to me and they couldn't take chances or time so they made Ben step out of the room and put me completely under. They got her out and when they did I didn't have a drop of Amniotic Fluid left. So she's our miracle baby. Cause if I wouldn't have had an appt that morning I would have never known anything was wrong since she was still active. She's in the NICU unit out here an will be until I"m 37 weeks which is Jan 18th! (My Birthday convienent right?) We will be going back and forth to the hospital everyday to visit with her, hold her, feed her, etc. Poor Aidan is DYING to meet his little sister but we keep him occupied with Special Babysitters and Pictures of his little Kennedy! I want to thank everyone for the prayers, visits, gifts, and thoughts! We really loved seeing everyone that stopped by. Glad to have miss Kennedy in our family and she's such a sweet spirit. It'll be awhile before visitors will be allowed. We were told she could come home at 37 weeks but she will not be able to be visited until her full term after Feb 8. The dr's have strict orders and we will follow them to keep her as healthy as possible!!!!! Thank you again everyone! I'll attach some photos!!!!!!

I can't believe it, we finally are finished with it!

SUPER GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BENJAMIN PATTERSON HOLLADAY'S WARRANT OFFICER FLIGHT PACKET IS FINALLY COMPLETE! HOORAY!!!! WE ARE SENDING IT IN TO FT RUCKER BY TONIGHT! BUT THE BOARD THAT WE CAN GO BEFORE ISN'T TIL MARCH SEEMS LIKE SO LONG BUT ITS FINALLY DONE!!!! WISH US LUCK.

A LITTLE UPDATE. WE ARE HEADED TO WEST POINT NY IN MARCH! WE WILL BE VISITING BRIGHAM IN MARCH IF THINGS WORK OUT AS PLANNED! AND THERE WILL BE A NEW ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY. WE USUALLY CALL HER KENNEDY BUT WE ARE DEBATING UNTIL SHE IS BORN IF THATS THE RIGHT NAME FOR HER. BUT MOST LIKELY WE WILL BLESS HER IN UTAH! SO AS OF NOW WE WILL LEAVE GERMANY THE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH (UNLESS BEN GETS STOP LOSSED HERE) BUT WE ARE THINKING POSITIVE! THE LORD KNOWS WHERE HE WANTS US TO GO!

WE JUST WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THE HELP, PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT THROUGH THIS TIME OF GETTING BEN'S PACKET DONE. HE HAS WORKED SO HARD ON IT! IT GIVES ME CHILLS TO TELL EVERYONE ITS FINALLY COMPLETE. EVEN WHEN PEOPLE DIDN'T WANT US TO SUCCEED WITH IT WE STILL GOT IT FINISHED!

Oh Whats In A Name?

So here's a question for you all. How many of you know of someone or have atleast done it yourself........Changed the name you were going to name your child before they were born even when so much has already been done in that name you had first decided? We most likely might be doing that but aren't sure. We've decided on a DIFFERENT name but we are going to wait to see what she looks like more when she comes out! This name keeps poping in our heads for some reason and it sticks out to me everytime I hear it. Anyway I know my family wouldn't be upset and I know that I could explain to her that she was going to be named Kennedy and that is why so many of her wishes say Kennedy. We'll just have to see how things work out.

So I figured I would post some pictures from this last week up on our blog. We went over to the tree lighting ceremony the other night and Santa arrived on a FIRE TRUCK. Believe me Aidan was STOKED. See he thinks Santa is REALLY cool until he's right next to him to get on his lap. He shakes and freaks out and doesn't want a part of it! Anyway so here is some pictures to enjoy. I seriously can't believe Christmas is NEXT WEEK! Holy cow ladies and gents! YOU BETTER WATCH OUT YOU BETTER NOT CRY YOU BETTER NOT POUT I"M TELLING YOU WHY!!!! Yeah for Santa! Not too homesick this year cause I'm just focusing on getting our little Kennedy here safely and getting ready for the worlds MOST AWESOME NANA to come visit in January! Just a well needed update. A little scrambled but it'll have to do.

Ok so I've been a brat lately and not wanting to post anything because everyone doesn't leave a comment. Even if I don't know your looking at my blog leave me a comment kids!!!! Anyway I am going to post some pics of random things since I haven't posted in awhile. Aidan loves his babysitter Amanda they always do silly things. Amanda put a diaper on his head one day and I had to get a picture I thought it was hilarious. I took pictures with Aidan when we were bored one day and then another picture is of him in his outfit that my BEST friend JenJen sent him. Jen's been so good to us while I've been over here in Germany. I know I can always count on her answering my phone call when I just need someone to talk to. She's always there to cheer me up. Even though we are thousands of miles away from each other she's still been a blessing in my life!!! Love you Jen thank you so much. So yes we missed the deadline again for the board THANKS TO BEN'S COMPANY! But we have orders for West Point and hopefully we will make it out of here before stop loss happens to the guys that he'll have to deploy with this mess of a company! We will try our best to make it to Utah in March to visit but it won't be a long visit. But we'll try to atleast SEE peoples faces! Hey we'll just be in NY so you'll have to come visit. We will probably wait to bless Kennedy until we get back to Utah too so we can have family there!!! Just pray that everything in the pregnancy goes well and we can get her a passport. Keep getting disappointing news all the time at the DR and I always think whats next you going to tell me she's a boy. But she's been stubborn lately and never lets us see her so we haven't gotten a good pic yet.
Well there is a little update. I'm taking Aidan to sit on Santa's lap today so there will be more pics.

I've been tagged!!! By my lovely sister in law! So here it goes. I"m not as good at this as others but lets see what my brain can rattle off!!!!
I'm suppose to write 5 things about Aidan Benjamin Holladay!!!!
1. Aidan is so excited to have his little sister Kennedy Jo join us. He gives her kisses numerous times a day and is constantly trying to feed, give her drinks, put chapstick on her, etc. He has such a huge imagination. He is constantly saying he's the brother and she's the sister. Now we really will just have to see how he acts when she's out of the belly and being spoiled too!
2. Aidan loves to work the VCR/DVD this drives me NUTS! He is too smart for his own good once in awhile. He's even picked up on daddy's bad habits! SIMPSONS. This I'm not so sure I'm happy about cause growing up as a child I NEVER and I mean NEVER was allowed to watch the simpsons. My husband is slowly trying to teach me to love them but I just can't. Hopefully once Kennedy comes I can get Aidan playing with Barbie dolls to get back at daddy for the Simpson episode!!!! JK I think Aidan just enjoys it cause he sees daddy watching it.
3. Aidan loves his cousins. My brother's wives and Mandy do very well at sending pics of the kids or posting them online. Videos are his very favorite! He calls the Twins "The Boys" and he tries so hard to say everyone's name. The one that most always comes out is AUDREY. Its so adorable. He points to the computer and tries to say one of their names when he sees them. So thank you to everyone that has done this it will surely help Aidan know his cousins. (we are hoping to get stationed by Aunt Mandy and hopefully will know this weekend! Wish us luck since this Warrant Officer thing is being so difficult!)
4. Aidan loves Wiggles and Barney...........I know your all thinking doesn't that bug the crap out of you? I say NO! You've got to see this boy shake his butt! He sings to the songs and does the dance actions. Its probably the cutest thing ever! You just wait til we come visit and he starts singing and dancing to MR SUN! Thats his fav right now. (Infact that is what is in the background)
5. Aidan LOVES superheros. He does the little spider web thing that Spiderman does, Hulk Smash (thanks to cute Tommy!) and LOVES SUPERMAN! he has jammies that are Superman with a cape and he begs to wear them! I love his cute little personality. Oh and in previous post..........have you seen that SMILE? Its ADORABLE and so CHEESEABLE! Can't wait to see everyone in person again.

MY BABY IS TURNING 2

So I can't believe I"m writing this! It feels like yesterday his daddy just got home from Iraq and he was 10 months old! This cute little boy stole my heart the second he was born! He is turning 2 tomorrow and I'm a little bit sad he's growing up. But I love spending time with him each day! He does the funniest things too. Aidan loves to watch Simpsons with his dad. He will hear Ben laugh so when he wants to watch them in the day with me he does the funny "Grown up laugh that daddy does!" Aidan loves to announce to everyone that HE FARTED! and will tell you if he hears someone else do it also! He's really into all the super heros! Loves to do what they do etc. My last day of work is the day before Thanksgiving and then I am starting to POTTY TRAIN him. So anyone feel free to leave your suggestions. Ben's been gone a lot since they are getting ready to deploy and Aidan gets so sad when Daddy tells him he's going to be gone for a COUPLE DAYS. It breaks my heart. More so that we have to do it for a year pretty soon. Thank goodness for Nana and Papa! They want us to live with them so we'll have a little bit of company! Aidan loves to SING AND DANCE! Ben and I need to do better on catching it on tape! Its adorable! He's got the worlds BIGGEST immagination! I could just squeeze his guts out of him he's so darn cute! I told Ben the other day that I fell in love with another man.....................then I said and this man calls me MOMMY!!!! He laughed at me. Well I just wanted to write a little bit about Aidan. I am so proud to be his mommy! Ben loves him too! HE's got us both wrapped around his little fingers! WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK LITTLE DUDE! YOU MAKE US PROUD EVERY DAY! Aidan and I were bored waiting for Daddy to return so we decided to make Turkey's out of Aidan's hands. He had so much fun! He sure was a little cutie pie when he was doing it too! I love spending time with Aidan he brightens my day. The pictures of me laying was when Ben came home he saw Aidan and I snuggling and wanted to take a picture of us. Then Aidan started being silly and sticking stuff in my shirt. I love little boys! Can't believe my little man will be 2 this Thursday! Here is his final product. When Daddy came home he thought it was SO CUTE!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!

I haven't uploaded any pics from Halloween so I thought I would hurry and throw some up on the page!!! We had fun trick or treating this year. Ben made it home from school in time and we went with the Bechels and Caraways! Didn't get lots of candy but Aidan's just almost 2 so he will live! But we had tons of fun! Well atleast I did. Ben got to help with Aidan. It was fun to just take pics! Enjoy!

Ben has recieved all his paper work to send in his Warrant Officer Packet! Wish us luck. His packet will go before the board in January and if he's not excepted into the first one the boards are every other month! So we are hoping for the best! Ben's test scores, resumes, letters etc look awesome so thats what matters most~ Sneak a prayer or two in for us when you think of it! We are really hoping this works out for our family! Ben's really wanting to fly!

Aidan's Happy Birthday!

Well hello! I know, I know, Aidan's birthday is NOV. 13th but Ben is gone now at school then in the field and comes home the day before Halloween. And our best friends move the 1st of November so we decided to do it yesterday! It was a lot of fun! Aidan got completely spoiled! Here's what he got. Spiderman Motorcycle, chainsaw and helmet, Guitar, HUGE tonka dump truck, tonka trucks, Crash car set (has a race track), dishes and food (for his kitchen), CANDY, Wiggles sticker book, wiggles pop up music book, The Coolest cars shirt that TALKS!, and many more I just can't think right now! Thank you to our friends who joined us and for the wonderful gifts they gave this little fart! It was a complete blast! My sister in law told me how to do these collages and I'm super excited! You will be seeing more of these from me!

Larsen Family Fundraiser...

Most of you know Daryl and Ashley Larsen. For those of you who don't, they are a young couple here in Perry, who just lost their baby to a rare lung disorder. Their loss is truly a tragedy. They are now experiencing the beginnings of what will be a land slide of medical bills. In an effort to aide them, there will be a one day fundraiser at the Maddox Steak House. On November 5, you can call Maddox at 723-2916 and order the Turkey Steak dinner. You can choose the 2 or 4 family meal at the regular price. All proceeds will then be donated to the Larsen family. You do need to remember to mention the Larsen family name when ordering. You can then pick up your meal at the take out window in the back of Maddox. It will be for lunch and dinner.
