SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!

I haven't uploaded any pics from Halloween so I thought I would hurry and throw some up on the page!!! We had fun trick or treating this year. Ben made it home from school in time and we went with the Bechels and Caraways! Didn't get lots of candy but Aidan's just almost 2 so he will live! But we had tons of fun! Well atleast I did. Ben got to help with Aidan. It was fun to just take pics! Enjoy!

These are my girls. Jenny has already left me here to DIE in Germany alone! JK! (Its not that bad) And Allyson is going to be leaving the first of Dec. But this was us on Halloween night! These days will be missed dearly! Love ya girls!

Ben has recieved all his paper work to send in his Warrant Officer Packet! Wish us luck. His packet will go before the board in January and if he's not excepted into the first one the boards are every other month! So we are hoping for the best! Ben's test scores, resumes, letters etc look awesome so thats what matters most~ Sneak a prayer or two in for us when you think of it! We are really hoping this works out for our family! Ben's really wanting to fly!

Aidan's Happy Birthday!

Well hello! I know, I know, Aidan's birthday is NOV. 13th but Ben is gone now at school then in the field and comes home the day before Halloween. And our best friends move the 1st of November so we decided to do it yesterday! It was a lot of fun! Aidan got completely spoiled! Here's what he got. Spiderman Motorcycle, chainsaw and helmet, Guitar, HUGE tonka dump truck, tonka trucks, Crash car set (has a race track), dishes and food (for his kitchen), CANDY, Wiggles sticker book, wiggles pop up music book, The Coolest cars shirt that TALKS!, and many more I just can't think right now! Thank you to our friends who joined us and for the wonderful gifts they gave this little fart! It was a complete blast! My sister in law told me how to do these collages and I'm super excited! You will be seeing more of these from me!

Larsen Family Fundraiser...

Most of you know Daryl and Ashley Larsen. For those of you who don't, they are a young couple here in Perry, who just lost their baby to a rare lung disorder. Their loss is truly a tragedy. They are now experiencing the beginnings of what will be a land slide of medical bills. In an effort to aide them, there will be a one day fundraiser at the Maddox Steak House. On November 5, you can call Maddox at 723-2916 and order the Turkey Steak dinner. You can choose the 2 or 4 family meal at the regular price. All proceeds will then be donated to the Larsen family. You do need to remember to mention the Larsen family name when ordering. You can then pick up your meal at the take out window in the back of Maddox. It will be for lunch and dinner. Shout Out to the NANA!

Aidan just wants to give a SHOUT OUT to his NANA! She made him another one of his favorite BLANKIES! I wish you guys could hear how he says it. He doesn't even try to he just makes this noise and that means blanket! This face in the picture is his concentrating(SP?) look. He does this with his tongue when he's watching shows thinking or anytime he's contemplating on doing something! Anyway he's growing up pretty fast. He's already talking about Nana coming when Kennedy comes out of mommy's tummy. He wants her to sleep in his room! Thank you mom for making Aidan all these wonderful blankets! I even love how its quilted to say "Aidan, Nana loves you!" How cool is that? Aidan's pretty lucky to have such a special Nana! We love you too Papa! You just don't make these wonderful quilts and blankies like mom does! I still need to get a picture of Aidan with his flag afgan that his Grandma Holladay made him. He likes to sleep with that one as well! We are doing Aidan's party this Saturday the 25th cause Ben's going to school and will be in the field starting Sunday til the day before Thanksgiving! We'll have pics to post of that.

This entry is TOTALLY ramdom! Ben has been such an amazing Daddy and Husband lately I just wanted to let him know how much I love him! He makes the world go round for us! He can make me laugh so hard that I forget that I just had the worst day ever! So thank you Ben for all you do and for making my dreams come true! I LOVE YOU!

FIRETRUCK BOY!

Well the fire alarm kept getting set off this week. And when you set it off the WHOLE building has to stand outside until the German fire department decides they wanna show up and save us. Sometimes it takes them more then a half hour. I'm convinced that they think. Eh its just the Americans we can live without them! ahhahahahahah Anyway on Saturday we all had to stand outside and Ben had gotten home from PT as they were letting everyone go back in so we took Aidan out and got him a picture of the firetruck! The firemen even let Aidan go in and look at the truck! Daddy was having a ball teaching him all the lingo for firemen! He sure wants his boy to grow up to be a manly man! Anyway Aidan got a sticker that we put on his door from the firemen! He loves when the firetruck gets to come and visit! He just doesn't like the loud sirens that go off in our homes! Its a scary noise as he would say!

So I never thought I would do this!

Okay ladies and gents! Remember hearing Heidi and Ben say that Aidan could have his binky til he's 30?!?!? Well we had to take it away last night. Let me share our experience!
We went over to the PX to pay for our layaway and Ben needed eye drops! Aidan was running by the baby stuff (with a binky in his mouth OF COURSE! He doesn't go ANYWHERE without it!) Well he just so happened to trip and fall! His nice little teeth got TORE up! Aidan ended up biting the binky off (nipple part) but luckily didn't swollow it! We are REALLY lucky he didn't swollow it cause if he had he would have most likely choked and died. There was blood everywhere and I kept telling myself. I know the mouth bleeds more so I was doing my best to keep calm. Then Ben and I opened his mouth to look and when we did we headed to the ER. Aidan had flaps of skin that were loose from his binky cutting them. You know the extra skin that holds the lip to the gums well Aidan has always had extra and he ripped that all the way up! He was in a lot of pain. Everything was fine we just wanted to make sure his tooth wasn't going to fall out! Poor kid and his teeth. Like a wonderful dentist in our ward says "its a good thing he has trial teeth!" Little Aidan was a trooper! He went to bed without fussing. We just told him the binky hurt him. I know this blog is a little scattered but the main reason we are done is like I said before if Aidan were to have swallowed that nipple part he most likely wouldn't be here with us today! We took that as a sign to be done! I'm not even sure if my little Kennedy will get one! We'll see! Anyway Aidan came in at 5 and asked for his binky and we just told him we don't use it anymore and put him back to bed with some meds for the pain and he did fine. His face is bruised from where the binky hit on his cheek and mouth but he's our tough boy and will make it through. His mouth is already started to scab but he's been really fussy that it hurts. We are just suppose to keep some good meds in him to take the pain away! Anyway so that is our story of how we got rid of it! Glad he's a strong boy!

A much needed update!

Here's a little update! Sorry I have started back at my old job since they needed a little extra help. Its just in the afternoons and I have found an AMAZING babysitter who just comes over to the house while Aidan's still napping and plays with him a couple hours! Ben never has weekends off so it works out great cause I work m-f so when he's home I don't need the babysitter so MORE MONEY IN THE POCKET...or shall I say that we can spend on this new little girl coming into our lives! Keep tuned for those of you who want to be involved in her wish quilt! Anyway we had our appt today! My weight is still awesome he says! I gained .5 kg this month and he said its just the baby weight! But just remember folk I lost 18 pounds in the begginning so I am still feeling ok! Kennedy is growing and everything looks perfectly normal! She's pretty cute moving around in my tummy! Its fun to have Ben here this time to experience it with me! Although I sure would love my cutest sister MANDY here too! I miss that I don't get to share it with her this time! She's excited its a girl and finally broke down and bought some girly clothes for her (she's afraid miss Kennedy is going to come out a Boy!) So here's to hoping that she really is a girl! I'm really excited and have told Ben this is heavenly fathers test to me! I will do my VERY best to dress this princess modestly! Okay enough about the baby! This last month I had the opportunity to go and play Bunko with some ladies from church and I have to tell you. Its been the first time out here in Germany where I loved being here cause I felt involved! I know its silly to think that if you don't have friends out here your going to hate it but it was nice to get out and laugh for once! Anyway Ben has recieved all his letters for his packet! They look amazing! I'm really proud of him! Its taken a year to get everything together and despite what SOME have said Ben worked hard and didn't let the army win him over on HURRY UP AND WAIT~ Thanks for all your prayers! We still would love them for him to NOT DEPLOY but I have told myself that whatever happens will happen! I just need to be strong!
Hopefully Ben's packet gets turned in to go before the Board in November if the Flight Physical doesn't get back in time it won't go until January!

Think he wants a Sister??????? I think so!

My friend had a little baby girl in June! Aidan loves when I babysit her and is the biggest helper! Come on I asked him to get me her diaper and he knew what I was asking and did it! He wanted to feed her, hold her, take care of her, etc! I think he's going to be ready. I still think he will get jealous but I think he'll be excited! He is always talking to my belly and saying love you Kennedy, good night Kennedy, Good morning Kennedy, etc! I think he's growing up way to fast for mommy! He's such a good kid though! We love him lots! I know sometimes I post 2 blogs at once but sometimes I have to!!!!!!!! When I have time to sit down thats when I get caught up!

The Belly!

Alright folks I have been promising a photo of the belly so here you go!

This first one I was being a little goofy! I am quite amazed I've lost 18 pounds with this baby! People say they are jealous but ladies and gents! Believe me I HAD the weight to lose! It was good for me! I've now gained 2 pounds of that 18 back! Here's to hoping for a WONDERFUL pregnancy!!!

The Men in My Life!

Its a ritual! Aidan loves to be snuggled and he comes in mom and dads bed to snuggle us. Sometimes Daddy wakes up and sometimes daddy tells Aidan........LET ME SLEEP! Aidan was trying so hard to get daddy to play there game of GOTCHU!

Aidan loves wearing his daddy's hats! He'll keep them on ALL day if I'd let him! I wonder what Kennedy will like to do.....hopefully not the ARMY! JK!

Ben brought me roses for our anniversary and Aidan keeps saying "smell flowers" He loved smelling them. He was smelling them so close that he even poked his eye with a flower leaf!

I know I have posted so many photos of Ben and Aidan. But its really because I'm always the one behind the camera! But Aidan loves his daddy so much! They have all sorts of fun! I can tell Aidan wants to be just like his daddy. He goes to daddy's work and is in heaven! (maybe just because daddy is there but its fun to see him get so excited!) Aidan is growing everyday! The other night he held my friends little girl who's almost 2 months old and Aidan was loving it! He gave her TONS of kisses!!! What am I going to do with a little man with so much LOVE to give???? LOCK HIM UP!

IT’S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm so excited cause I didn't think our family could produce anything but boys! We are so excited for this cute little girl to come to us! About a month ago I secretly thought it was a girl but I didn't want to be disappointed if they told me it was a boy. So anyway we are excited. He was 100% that it was a girl but will check for me again next month cause I told him what happened with Aidan. But this ultra sound didn't look anything like Aidan's! There was DEF no 3rd leg! We are really excited for our little Kennedy Jo! That's our name for now but we both really like it!

Happy Anniversary Babe!

So I'm a day late but better late then never right? Ben and I have been married for 4 years! We were married 9/4/04 and it seems like we've been together forever! I seriously can't picture life without him! I don't have many recent pictures of him but this blog is just for him today! I was going to write the 4 things I love the most about him since we've been married 4 years but I feel like there is many more then just 4!


Ben is such a great father and husband! He works so hard to provide for our family. Life isn't easy having a soldier for a daddy but we wouldn't trade it for the world. He's our biggest hero! Aidan looks up to his dad so much its adorable. Its been nice to live on our own in Germany and knowing we only have each other to rely on since other family is so far away. Its helped us figure out a lot of things. Babe here's to eternity! I love you to the moon and back. Your the best husband anyone could ask for and I appreciate all you do!

Thanks for making this the best time of my life! You know your one in a million. We love having you home with us and cherish the time we have with you since we never know when your really leaving next! Thanks for defending our freedom! I love you babe!

Just thought I would write something

The proudest Dad on earth...
Is me, Ben Holladay. I just witnessed something that changed my life! I was playing catch with my son Aidan (actualy it was mostly this game that he made up which involves him throwing a ball and me catching it in this stupid net thing I don't understand all the rules but he takes it EXTREMELY seriously) and I witnessed as my almost 2yr old threw his NERF football to me across the living room (about 10') in a perfect spiral. This happened not once or twice but five times in a row! I think I may have the next John Elway on my hands!

1. I HATE CHOCOLATE when I'm pregnant. I'm not a huge fan! Although there is SOME german chocolate that I could devour! So who knows what my problem is.

2. I'd love to live with my parents the rest of my life! I know it sounds so funny but I could live with my parents and hang out with them everyday but I would want my hubby and kids there to enjoy it also! I love being around my family and just being myself! So I'm very greatful that Ben lets me go visit with them when I get lonely for some Mommy time!

3. I love to sit and SMELL Aidan's blankies! I could do it all day. Infact sometimes I steal them to sleep with them! I enjoy his smell! I hope thats not TOO weird!

4. I love to START projects and I never end up finishing them! I have many unfinished products even at mom's and dad's!

5. I hate cleaning. The only time my house really gets a good cleaning is when I'm really upset or when I have a friend here keeping me company.

6. I LOVE kid movies. I could watch all the kid disney dvd's and be perfectly happy as a kid! I love them all!

My best friend!

Messin around with Mom!

Aidan is literally tbe most reliable friend I have! Other then his daddy! Aidan will sit and listen to me when I'm having the hardest day. He'll even sit and snuggle when I cry cause I miss Utah. My mother in law thinks I'm a piece of work for missing home and wanting to be by family but who cares! Family is important to me. I know that Ben is my family now but I still adore my family in Utah! Aidan loves seeing his cousins too. He still hasn't stopped talking about his Aunt MANNY! (Aunt Mandy) He wants everyone to be her! Anyway I snapped a picture of Aidan and I the other day and wanted to dedicate this post to him! Aidan is really a good boy! He went from drinking a bottle one night to not having another one ever again. We just switched him to a big boy bed and he hasn't even freaked out! He's the worlds best baby! He has his times don't get me wrong but I quickly see past those things when he starts to dance to the wiggles! He's so creative! Aidan loves to look at www.starfall.com with me and read through the stuff on there. It teaches him a lot! Aidan's new thing is to switch the DVD by himself. It irritates me cause I"m nervous he's gonna break the dvd player and the DVDs.

Aidan sure is getting cuter by the day! Although he is fussy and a brat sometimes I still am SO in love with him! He's got me wrapped around his finger I'm not gonna lie! So Ben has talked to his batallion commander about the letter he needs to complete his packet. I'm hoping all this comes and is done by the end of September. Sneak in a little prayer for us if you think about it! I'm really hoping this works out for him! It'd be his dream job! I'm sitting here writing this watching Aidan cover his daddy in his blankets! Aidan is such a lovable boy. He's so into all of his blankies! I can't even really write how he says it. I will always remember. Cause he calls his binkie,blankie and his Monkey the same thing! 15 weeks! So many more weeks to go......

We went to the Dr yesterday for our check up. He told us a gender but it was more of a guess and last time with Aidan they guessed or thought they knew and it changed the next month. So I think we are holding off on telling folks the gender until next time cause I"m a little skeptical. Not sure. Mothers instinct is usually right and the guess wasn't my instinct. Who knows maybe but we'll have to wait and see and so will you! Here's a photo of the babies back side. The cutie was moving so much we couldn't get a good photo except this one shows the butt, leg and arm! So cute right? Well to a mother it is! I'm excited to have this little spirit inside of me even if its controlling my body!!!
So I'm 15 weeks and I still haven't put a belly photo up. Maybe I'll get on Ben tonight to have him take a pic of me! Enjoy everyone! August is half way over isn't that insane?

Aidan's grown so much!

These are some photos since we've been home. Aidan sure changed the month we were gone! He loved being home with the family. He's asked for Nana everyday and once in awhile asks for Papa and KAYLA! Isn't that cute. I tell him they live over the ocean. Everytime we see a plane in the sky Aidan asks "Where'd it go?" and I said I don't know where did it go? He replies "nana's" So Ben said "Nana's house must be pretty popular. Also Aidan has become the MONEY man! He wants to carry the money around all day and keep it in his pocket. Then of course when he sees a lollipop machine or candy machine Aidan pulls out his money and says PLEASE money~ He's taking after his Papa loving money! (Thats what Daddy says!) We sure have a cute little boy and sometimes he can be a little terror but we'll keep him!

So I've been out of the LOOP lately. Things just didn't get right back to normal when we got home. It took Aidan about a week to get back on schedule but he's still not sleeping like he used to but thats understandable. So I am just going to post some random pics!
