So I figured I would post some pictures from this last week up on our blog. We went over to the tree lighting ceremony the other night and Santa arrived on a FIRE TRUCK. Believe me Aidan was STOKED. See he thinks Santa is REALLY cool until he's right next to him to get on his lap. He shakes and freaks out and doesn't want a part of it! Anyway so here is some pictures to enjoy. I seriously can't believe Christmas is NEXT WEEK! Holy cow ladies and gents! YOU BETTER WATCH OUT YOU BETTER NOT CRY YOU BETTER NOT POUT I"M TELLING YOU WHY!!!! Yeah for Santa! Not too homesick this year cause I'm just focusing on getting our little Kennedy here safely and getting ready for the worlds MOST AWESOME NANA to come visit in January! Just a well needed update. A little scrambled but it'll have to do.

Ok so I've been a brat lately and not wanting to post anything because everyone doesn't leave a comment. Even if I don't know your looking at my blog leave me a comment kids!!!! Anyway I am going to post some pics of random things since I haven't posted in awhile. Aidan loves his babysitter Amanda they always do silly things. Amanda put a diaper on his head one day and I had to get a picture I thought it was hilarious. I took pictures with Aidan when we were bored one day and then another picture is of him in his outfit that my BEST friend JenJen sent him. Jen's been so good to us while I've been over here in Germany. I know I can always count on her answering my phone call when I just need someone to talk to. She's always there to cheer me up. Even though we are thousands of miles away from each other she's still been a blessing in my life!!! Love you Jen thank you so much. So yes we missed the deadline again for the board THANKS TO BEN'S COMPANY! But we have orders for West Point and hopefully we will make it out of here before stop loss happens to the guys that he'll have to deploy with this mess of a company! We will try our best to make it to Utah in March to visit but it won't be a long visit. But we'll try to atleast SEE peoples faces! Hey we'll just be in NY so you'll have to come visit. We will probably wait to bless Kennedy until we get back to Utah too so we can have family there!!! Just pray that everything in the pregnancy goes well and we can get her a passport. Keep getting disappointing news all the time at the DR and I always think whats next you going to tell me she's a boy. But she's been stubborn lately and never lets us see her so we haven't gotten a good pic yet.
Well there is a little update. I'm taking Aidan to sit on Santa's lap today so there will be more pics.

Aidan loves to sing and dance!

I've been tagged!!! By my lovely sister in law! So here it goes. I"m not as good at this as others but lets see what my brain can rattle off!!!!
I'm suppose to write 5 things about Aidan Benjamin Holladay!!!!
1. Aidan is so excited to have his little sister Kennedy Jo join us. He gives her kisses numerous times a day and is constantly trying to feed, give her drinks, put chapstick on her, etc. He has such a huge imagination. He is constantly saying he's the brother and she's the sister. Now we really will just have to see how he acts when she's out of the belly and being spoiled too!
2. Aidan loves to work the VCR/DVD this drives me NUTS! He is too smart for his own good once in awhile. He's even picked up on daddy's bad habits! SIMPSONS. This I'm not so sure I'm happy about cause growing up as a child I NEVER and I mean NEVER was allowed to watch the simpsons. My husband is slowly trying to teach me to love them but I just can't. Hopefully once Kennedy comes I can get Aidan playing with Barbie dolls to get back at daddy for the Simpson episode!!!! JK I think Aidan just enjoys it cause he sees daddy watching it.
3. Aidan loves his cousins. My brother's wives and Mandy do very well at sending pics of the kids or posting them online. Videos are his very favorite! He calls the Twins "The Boys" and he tries so hard to say everyone's name. The one that most always comes out is AUDREY. Its so adorable. He points to the computer and tries to say one of their names when he sees them. So thank you to everyone that has done this it will surely help Aidan know his cousins. (we are hoping to get stationed by Aunt Mandy and hopefully will know this weekend! Wish us luck since this Warrant Officer thing is being so difficult!)
4. Aidan loves Wiggles and Barney...........I know your all thinking doesn't that bug the crap out of you? I say NO! You've got to see this boy shake his butt! He sings to the songs and does the dance actions. Its probably the cutest thing ever! You just wait til we come visit and he starts singing and dancing to MR SUN! Thats his fav right now. (Infact that is what is in the background)
5. Aidan LOVES superheros. He does the little spider web thing that Spiderman does, Hulk Smash (thanks to cute Tommy!) and LOVES SUPERMAN! he has jammies that are Superman with a cape and he begs to wear them! I love his cute little personality. Oh and in previous post..........have you seen that SMILE? Its ADORABLE and so CHEESEABLE! Can't wait to see everyone in person again.

MY BABY IS TURNING 2

So I can't believe I"m writing this! It feels like yesterday his daddy just got home from Iraq and he was 10 months old! This cute little boy stole my heart the second he was born! He is turning 2 tomorrow and I'm a little bit sad he's growing up. But I love spending time with him each day! He does the funniest things too. Aidan loves to watch Simpsons with his dad. He will hear Ben laugh so when he wants to watch them in the day with me he does the funny "Grown up laugh that daddy does!" Aidan loves to announce to everyone that HE FARTED! and will tell you if he hears someone else do it also! He's really into all the super heros! Loves to do what they do etc. My last day of work is the day before Thanksgiving and then I am starting to POTTY TRAIN him. So anyone feel free to leave your suggestions. Ben's been gone a lot since they are getting ready to deploy and Aidan gets so sad when Daddy tells him he's going to be gone for a COUPLE DAYS. It breaks my heart. More so that we have to do it for a year pretty soon. Thank goodness for Nana and Papa! They want us to live with them so we'll have a little bit of company! Aidan loves to SING AND DANCE! Ben and I need to do better on catching it on tape! Its adorable! He's got the worlds BIGGEST immagination! I could just squeeze his guts out of him he's so darn cute! I told Ben the other day that I fell in love with another man.....................then I said and this man calls me MOMMY!!!! He laughed at me. Well I just wanted to write a little bit about Aidan. I am so proud to be his mommy! Ben loves him too! HE's got us both wrapped around his little fingers! WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK LITTLE DUDE! YOU MAKE US PROUD EVERY DAY! Aidan and I were bored waiting for Daddy to return so we decided to make Turkey's out of Aidan's hands. He had so much fun! He sure was a little cutie pie when he was doing it too! I love spending time with Aidan he brightens my day. The pictures of me laying was when Ben came home he saw Aidan and I snuggling and wanted to take a picture of us. Then Aidan started being silly and sticking stuff in my shirt. I love little boys! Can't believe my little man will be 2 this Thursday! Here is his final product. When Daddy came home he thought it was SO CUTE!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!

I haven't uploaded any pics from Halloween so I thought I would hurry and throw some up on the page!!! We had fun trick or treating this year. Ben made it home from school in time and we went with the Bechels and Caraways! Didn't get lots of candy but Aidan's just almost 2 so he will live! But we had tons of fun! Well atleast I did. Ben got to help with Aidan. It was fun to just take pics! Enjoy!

These are my girls. Jenny has already left me here to DIE in Germany alone! JK! (Its not that bad) And Allyson is going to be leaving the first of Dec. But this was us on Halloween night! These days will be missed dearly! Love ya girls!

Ben has recieved all his paper work to send in his Warrant Officer Packet! Wish us luck. His packet will go before the board in January and if he's not excepted into the first one the boards are every other month! So we are hoping for the best! Ben's test scores, resumes, letters etc look awesome so thats what matters most~ Sneak a prayer or two in for us when you think of it! We are really hoping this works out for our family! Ben's really wanting to fly!

Aidan's Happy Birthday!

Well hello! I know, I know, Aidan's birthday is NOV. 13th but Ben is gone now at school then in the field and comes home the day before Halloween. And our best friends move the 1st of November so we decided to do it yesterday! It was a lot of fun! Aidan got completely spoiled! Here's what he got. Spiderman Motorcycle, chainsaw and helmet, Guitar, HUGE tonka dump truck, tonka trucks, Crash car set (has a race track), dishes and food (for his kitchen), CANDY, Wiggles sticker book, wiggles pop up music book, The Coolest cars shirt that TALKS!, and many more I just can't think right now! Thank you to our friends who joined us and for the wonderful gifts they gave this little fart! It was a complete blast! My sister in law told me how to do these collages and I'm super excited! You will be seeing more of these from me!

Larsen Family Fundraiser...

Most of you know Daryl and Ashley Larsen. For those of you who don't, they are a young couple here in Perry, who just lost their baby to a rare lung disorder. Their loss is truly a tragedy. They are now experiencing the beginnings of what will be a land slide of medical bills. In an effort to aide them, there will be a one day fundraiser at the Maddox Steak House. On November 5, you can call Maddox at 723-2916 and order the Turkey Steak dinner. You can choose the 2 or 4 family meal at the regular price. All proceeds will then be donated to the Larsen family. You do need to remember to mention the Larsen family name when ordering. You can then pick up your meal at the take out window in the back of Maddox. It will be for lunch and dinner. Please spread the word. Feel free to copy and paste this post on your blog.

Shout Out to the NANA!

Aidan just wants to give a SHOUT OUT to his NANA! She made him another one of his favorite BLANKIES! I wish you guys could hear how he says it. He doesn't even try to he just makes this noise and that means blanket! This face in the picture is his concentrating(SP?) look. He does this with his tongue when he's watching shows thinking or anytime he's contemplating on doing something! Anyway he's growing up pretty fast. He's already talking about Nana coming when Kennedy comes out of mommy's tummy. He wants her to sleep in his room! Thank you mom for making Aidan all these wonderful blankets! I even love how its quilted to say "Aidan, Nana loves you!" How cool is that? Aidan's pretty lucky to have such a special Nana! We love you too Papa! You just don't make these wonderful quilts and blankies like mom does! I still need to get a picture of Aidan with his flag afgan that his Grandma Holladay made him. He likes to sleep with that one as well! We are doing Aidan's party this Saturday the 25th cause Ben's going to school and will be in the field starting Sunday til the day before Thanksgiving! We'll have pics to post of that.

This entry is TOTALLY ramdom! Ben has been such an amazing Daddy and Husband lately I just wanted to let him know how much I love him! He makes the world go round for us! He can make me laugh so hard that I forget that I just had the worst day ever! So thank you Ben for all you do and for making my dreams come true! I LOVE YOU!

FIRETRUCK BOY!

Well the fire alarm kept getting set off this week. And when you set it off the WHOLE building has to stand outside until the German fire department decides they wanna show up and save us. Sometimes it takes them more then a half hour. I'm convinced that they think. Eh its just the Americans we can live without them! ahhahahahahah Anyway on Saturday we all had to stand outside and Ben had gotten home from PT as they were letting everyone go back in so we took Aidan out and got him a picture of the firetruck! The firemen even let Aidan go in and look at the truck! Daddy was having a ball teaching him all the lingo for firemen! He sure wants his boy to grow up to be a manly man! Anyway Aidan got a sticker that we put on his door from the firemen! He loves when the firetruck gets to come and visit! He just doesn't like the loud sirens that go off in our homes! Its a scary noise as he would say!

So I never thought I would do this!

Okay ladies and gents! Remember hearing Heidi and Ben say that Aidan could have his binky til he's 30?!?!? Well we had to take it away last night. Let me share our experience!
We went over to the PX to pay for our layaway and Ben needed eye drops! Aidan was running by the baby stuff (with a binky in his mouth OF COURSE! He doesn't go ANYWHERE without it!) Well he just so happened to trip and fall! His nice little teeth got TORE up! Aidan ended up biting the binky off (nipple part) but luckily didn't swollow it! We are REALLY lucky he didn't swollow it cause if he had he would have most likely choked and died. There was blood everywhere and I kept telling myself. I know the mouth bleeds more so I was doing my best to keep calm. Then Ben and I opened his mouth to look and when we did we headed to the ER. Aidan had flaps of skin that were loose from his binky cutting them. You know the extra skin that holds the lip to the gums well Aidan has always had extra and he ripped that all the way up! He was in a lot of pain. Everything was fine we just wanted to make sure his tooth wasn't going to fall out! Poor kid and his teeth. Like a wonderful dentist in our ward says "its a good thing he has trial teeth!" Little Aidan was a trooper! He went to bed without fussing. We just told him the binky hurt him. I know this blog is a little scattered but the main reason we are done is like I said before if Aidan were to have swallowed that nipple part he most likely wouldn't be here with us today! We took that as a sign to be done! I'm not even sure if my little Kennedy will get one! We'll see! Anyway Aidan came in at 5 and asked for his binky and we just told him we don't use it anymore and put him back to bed with some meds for the pain and he did fine. His face is bruised from where the binky hit on his cheek and mouth but he's our tough boy and will make it through. His mouth is already started to scab but he's been really fussy that it hurts. We are just suppose to keep some good meds in him to take the pain away! Anyway so that is our story of how we got rid of it! Glad he's a strong boy!

A much needed update!

Here's a little update! Sorry I have started back at my old job since they needed a little extra help. Its just in the afternoons and I have found an AMAZING babysitter who just comes over to the house while Aidan's still napping and plays with him a couple hours! Ben never has weekends off so it works out great cause I work m-f so when he's home I don't need the babysitter so MORE MONEY IN THE POCKET...or shall I say that we can spend on this new little girl coming into our lives! Keep tuned for those of you who want to be involved in her wish quilt! Anyway we had our appt today! My weight is still awesome he says! I gained .5 kg this month and he said its just the baby weight! But just remember folk I lost 18 pounds in the begginning so I am still feeling ok! Kennedy is growing and everything looks perfectly normal! She's pretty cute moving around in my tummy! Its fun to have Ben here this time to experience it with me! Although I sure would love my cutest sister MANDY here too! I miss that I don't get to share it with her this time! She's excited its a girl and finally broke down and bought some girly clothes for her (she's afraid miss Kennedy is going to come out a Boy!) So here's to hoping that she really is a girl! I'm really excited and have told Ben this is heavenly fathers test to me! I will do my VERY best to dress this princess modestly! Okay enough about the baby! This last month I had the opportunity to go and play Bunko with some ladies from church and I have to tell you. Its been the first time out here in Germany where I loved being here cause I felt involved! I know its silly to think that if you don't have friends out here your going to hate it but it was nice to get out and laugh for once! Anyway Ben has recieved all his letters for his packet! They look amazing! I'm really proud of him! Its taken a year to get everything together and despite what SOME have said Ben worked hard and didn't let the army win him over on HURRY UP AND WAIT~ Thanks for all your prayers! We still would love them for him to NOT DEPLOY but I have told myself that whatever happens will happen! I just need to be strong!
Hopefully Ben's packet gets turned in to go before the Board in November if the Flight Physical doesn't get back in time it won't go until January!

Think he wants a Sister??????? I think so!

My friend had a little baby girl in June! Aidan loves when I babysit her and is the biggest helper! Come on I asked him to get me her diaper and he knew what I was asking and did it! He wanted to feed her, hold her, take care of her, etc! I think he's going to be ready. I still think he will get jealous but I think he'll be excited! He is always talking to my belly and saying love you Kennedy, good night Kennedy, Good morning Kennedy, etc! I think he's growing up way to fast for mommy! He's such a good kid though! We love him lots! I know sometimes I post 2 blogs at once but sometimes I have to!!!!!!!! When I have time to sit down thats when I get caught up!

This first one I was being a little goofy! I am quite amazed I've lost 18 pounds with this baby! People say they are jealous but ladies and gents! Believe me I HAD the weight to lose! It was good for me! I've now gained 2 pounds of that 18 back! Here's to hoping for a WONDERFUL pregnancy!!!

The Men in My Life!

Its a ritual! Aidan loves to be snuggled and he comes in mom and dads bed to snuggle us. Sometimes Daddy wakes up and sometimes daddy tells Aidan........LET ME SLEEP! Aidan was trying so hard to get daddy to play there game of GOTCHU!

Aidan loves wearing his daddy's hats! He'll keep them on ALL day if I'd let him! I wonder what Kennedy will like to do.....hopefully not the ARMY! JK!

Ben brought me roses for our anniversary and Aidan keeps saying "smell flowers" He loved smelling them. He was smelling them so close that he even poked his eye with a flower leaf!

I know I have posted so many photos of Ben and Aidan. But its really because I'm always the one behind the camera! But Aidan loves his daddy so much! They have all sorts of fun! I can tell Aidan wants to be just like his daddy. He goes to daddy's work and is in heaven! (maybe just because daddy is there but its fun to see him get so excited!) Aidan is growing everyday! The other night he held my friends little girl who's almost 2 months old and Aidan was loving it! He gave her TONS of kisses!!! What am I going to do with a little man with so much LOVE to give???? LOCK HIM UP!
